New groups

Beginning with the Summer 2010 tour, group membership will remain the same from tour to tour.  The group owner will still have the option of adding or deleting group members, but members won’t have to sign up for the group each tour.

Group owners will be able to create multiple “leagues” for their group.  A league will have a start date, an end date, and set of scoring rules.  Groups can run multiple leagues simultaneously, and group members will be able to submit different setlists to each league.  This will make it easy to create new leagues in the middle of the season to accommodate newcomers.

Signup for groups should be ready by Friday evening, and by the end of the weekend you will be able to begin entering setlists for the Summer 2010 tour.

Expanded setlists

There are now 26 slots for picking songs in your setlists.  There are 20 slots for songs prior to the closer, and 4 slots for encore songs prior to the encore closer.  The band has been increasing the number of songs played in recent years.  This will solve some of the problems we had last year with scoring long setlists.  It will also inflate scores compared to previous years, as you will still get 1 point for each slot that you leave blank if the band does not play a song in that position.
